Residency Schedule and Guidlines

So with the weekend being only a few days away, we thought we would lay out the schedule, and throw down a few guidelines. Without further ado:

Friday, August 15th:

5:00 Walking tour of the Village

8:00pm Dinner, Welcome, and History of Historic Yellow Springs with Rob Lukens, director of HYS,

featuring an overview of the weekend, and a DVD Documentary of HYS.

Saturday, August 16th:

8:00am Car Pool Field Trip to "Mercers Mill". Arrive at 9am, and view the private collection of PAFA Country School paintings, owned by Chester Marron. The visit will include lunch.

12:30pm Depart from Mercers Mill and arrive back at HYS.

1:30-5:00pm Open working sessions, time to consider collaborations, general roaming.

5:30pm Community Picnic BBQ! An open invite event, attended by press, local area residents, friends of FLUX, HYS, and artists. Food, games, and fun. A few demos, some talks, and more to be determined.

Sunday August 17th:

Through 6pm No scheduled programs. Breakfast and lunch to be announced.

6pm: Meet and discuss further ideas, the upcoming exhibition, and other such interests.
